Marriage15 November 1905WEDDING BELLS.
A PRETTY wedding scene was witnessed by a large company at the Yullundry Church on Wednesday last, 15th instant, when Mr. Francis B. A. Miller, youngest son of Mr. John Miller, of Wellington, until lately of
Yeoval, and Miss Elizabeth J. Job, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Job, of Goodwood, Yeoval, were united in the happy bonds of Wedlock. The bride was given away by her father, and attended by her
youngest sister and Miss Miller as bridesmaids. Mr. R. Job attended the bridegroom as his best man. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Canon Alldis under a and sprays of the choicest bloom and foliage,
skilfully arranged by Misses M. Grimson and Wykes. The hymn, "The Voice that Breathed O'er Eden," having been sung, the solemn rites of the matrimonial service were proceeded with and intently followed by all present. An address, bearing on the sacred ties and duties of marriage, and the need of watchfulness against the tendency to treat this most important relationship with levity and laxity, was given at the close. The wedding party and guests were afterwards entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Job at a sumptuous wedding breakfast at which the following toasts were proposed and duly honoured :—
The bridal pair, the bridesmaids, and the parents of the bride and bridegroom. Many choice and useful presents were given to the bride, and were on view in the reception room.
