T. McMillan, Bemerslde, were joined in holy wedlock. Very, Rev. Dean Grogan, P.P., performing the ceremony. The altar was beautifully decorated for the occasion by the Sisters of Mercy. To the strains of the 'Wedding March' played by Miss Ann Gard, the bride entered the church on the arm of Mr. W. H. Bonney, who gave her away. She wore a white satin gown cut on classical lines, the cowl neckline was daintily finished with large white flowers, and the skirt falling Into a circular flare. Her beautiful embroidered veil was worn with a halo and formed a train. She carried a bouquet of white roses tied with white narrow ribbon. The bridesmaid, Miss M. Conroy, was attired in a cornflower shade of georgette close fitting frock with a high neckline trimmed with pink and blue flowers and wore a large blue picture straw hat with pink and blue Sowers. Mr. Ewan Gossner carried out the duties of best man. During the signing of the register Miss Ann Kayrooz sang very sweetly 'Ave Maria.' After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was held. Mrs. McMillan received the guests In a pink floral georgette frock, with hat to tone. The happy couple left by mail train to spend their honeymoon In Cairns.
