Marriage	18 April 1938	Messinbird-Crease Wedding To-night MINIATURE Victorian ladies dressed in lemon and green, the colours of the bridesmaids' frocks, will mark the guests places at the Genolan Cafe after the wedding to-night of Miss Thelma Flornce Crease and Mr. Thomas James Messinbird, which will take place at Holy Trinity Church, Woollongabba. The bride, who is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Crease, Ipswich Road, Annerley. will be given away by her father. She will wear white embossed satin cut on princess lines, the upstanding collar of which will be fastened by a cameo brooch. Her long train will show a pleated inset and her cut tulle veil, lent by Mrs. H. Messinbird, will be arranged with sequins and orange blossom. She will carry dahlias, roses and carnations with frangipani trails. Her bridesmaids, Misses Elsie Messinbird and Hazel Crease, will be frocked in silk organdie in shades of green and lemon respectively. Finished with velvet bones on the bodice and sleeves, their frocks will be allied with mittens of the same material. On their heads they will wear, stiffened net veils caught by flowers, and their bouquets will consist of pink gladioli, roses and frangipani. Rev. W. A. Hardie will officiate, and the bridegroom, who is the second son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Messinbird, Dutton Park: will be attended by Mr. Cecil Hamilton as best man. and Aubrey Cowley as groomsman. NORMANDI CREPE. AT the reception, Mrs. Crease (mother of the bride) will wear Rhineland delustred normandi crepe with a matching hat. Mrs. Messinbird, the bride-grooms mother, has chosen jade green satin atona with brown accessories. The wedding cake was the gift of Mrs. J. Thomas.
